The Kaduna International Livestock & Poultry Industry Summit (KILPIS) is conceived as an enduring platform — designed to operate and grow year after year, anchored to food security, trade and regional development rather than a single edition or market cycle.

Governance
KILPIS is incorporated as a private company limited by guarantee under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 — a non-profit structure in which members contribute toward shared objectives rather than holding shares. Its work is coordinated with the Kaduna State Ministry of Agriculture and Synergos Nigeria through a jointly constituted Main Organizing Committee, ensuring the platform reinforces — rather than duplicates — state strategy.
Beyond the Summit
KILPIS combines an expo and conference with an investment forum, a farmer development centre, a policy and advocacy track, and a trade facilitation function — positioning it as a permanent agricultural transformation institution for Kaduna State, not a seasonal trade show.
